Our Guests’ Kind Words

  • Everything about the cottages was lovely!

Laurain and Mick are great and really helpful, but leave you alone to enjoy your holiday too. The cottage was really nice, immaculately clean and had everything we needed.

Dogs are very welcome and, though there are many animals on the site, they are well fenced-in, so escaping dogs couldn’t chase the animals! The alpacas were lovely and a joy to watch. This place really was a lucky find and I’d recommend it to families and couples and especially those with dogs.

  • Heaven on earth 💜💜💜

These amazing holiday cottages are a must if you want a slice of country living! They're the perfect place to come back to after a day of sightseeing. I booked for a week and extended it another.

Mick and Laurain are the perfect hosts full of local knowledge about places to go and see, and the animals are a joy for young children and adults alike. Can't wait to go back!

  • Thank you Laurain and Mick - you were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome!

We really enjoyed the lemon fairy cakes and fresh coffee on arrival, beautiful warm and cosy cottage that was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. We loved all the animals, especially the alpacas Bubble and Squeak, and the dogs Lady and Dice.

Thank you again! Wish we could have stayed longer!

  • Lovely friendly hosts, and a beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting. I took my two grandchildren (5 and 7) with me - it was safe for them to play outside, and inside was designed with children in mind too (nothing to break!) The cottage is really pretty, and had everything we needed, and was very clean and comfortable.

I highly recommend staying here with or without kids.

  • Lovely stay for Valentine's weekend - couldn't fault a thing! Laurain was so welcoming, and the cottage was pristine, cosy and warm. There was milk, tea, coffee and sugar and all kitchen appliances, and we were given fresh eggs from the chickens on the farm to cook too. Will definitely re-visit.

  • Our hosts Laurain and Mick were really friendly and welcoming. We were booked for 5 night's and ended up staying 6 - would have liked to have stayed even longer! The cottage was spotlessly clean and kitchen well-stocked.

We really loved the view out over the acreage, and there were alpacas, pigs, a horse, hens, ducks and a turkey - a magical place for children and adults, and a wonderful location from which to explore Kent.

  • Stayed for two weeks in the lovely Willow cottage. Our hosts Laurain and Mick very welcoming, and we had an absolutely wonderful, relaxing holiday and were able to completely switch off and absorb the wonderful countryside surroundings.

The animals and local trout farm were a bonus, and we'll be looking to book again in the new year.
